Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, many attachments have been designed and developed like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and designed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
