Narrow aisle lift trucks function by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the aisle width. Yale features the double reach NDR and the single reach NR models for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale apply best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has different control handle and stance configurations.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are numerous control handle configurations that meet a range of operations as well as a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options as well.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers powerful deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging so as to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of cargo transported in a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast durability and rigidity; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, as well as the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To really improve the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: Although regenerative lowering could reduce battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: In order to greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician can adjust the steer effort so as to reduce operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: The narrow aisle trucks and the very narrow aisle trucks are also referred to as order pickers. These machinery are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the load and the operator to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are normally rail or wire guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
